RJBC Deputy Chairman, Director Mr. Kononenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Amjad Adaileh

On 6^th September 2018, at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Moscow, Deputy Chairman, Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko had a working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Amjad Adaileh in order to discuss the arrangements for the Fourth Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development, which is going to take place in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Moscow, Russia.

To start with, the Parties discussed matters regarding the current state of the Russian-Jordanian cooperation in trade and economic, scientific and technical, as well as investment areas.

Special focus was on priority directions in development of the Russian-Jordanian cooperation such as trade, industrial sector, agriculture sector, energy industry, fuel and energy complex, oil and gas sector, transport, tourism and education.

Mr. Kononenko and H.E. Mr. Adaileh gave careful consideration to the issues concerning preparations for the Fourth Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development, agreed on the format, the list of questions to be discussed and the list of potential participants in the Russian-Jordanian Business Forum, which is planned to be held as a part of the Fourth Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development.

The Ambassador took a close look at the provided data about the RJBC’s activities and wished success in implementation of trade and economic, scientific and technical as well as innovative projects aimed at further development of mutually beneficial collaboration and reinforcement of friendly ties between Russia and Jordan.

Finally, on behalf of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council, on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Kononenko awarded Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Amjad Adaileh with a Medal ‘For Contribution to Development of Economic and Friendly Relations between Russia and Jordan’ and wished him further success in his diplomatic activities as well as trade and economic, and investment projects realization in a Russia’s territory.
