On 17^th December 2011 the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Deputy Chairman, Chairman of the RJBC Commission for Tourism, Culture, Religion and Social Organizations Coordination Mr. Kononenko V.A. had a business meeting with Construction Site Director of the Russian Pilgrim House Mr. Opria A.Y.

Also Mr. Matusyak Y.V., Main Specialist of ‘StroytransGas’ plc. Infrastructure and Housing Construction Department, took part in the meeting.

The participants of the meeting devoted special attention to the matters concerning the operational preparedness of the Russian Pilgrim House and its compliance with the project carried out by ‘Architect Vorontsov’s Bureau’, LLC. To date construction and decoration works, neighborhood improvement and utility services communications have been finished.

On 26^th November 2011 a Committee meeting under the leadership of Executive Officer from the Affairs Management Department of the Russian Federation President’s Administration Mr. V.I.Kozhin took place. The Committee pointed out some unfinished works but, in whole, evaluated the operational preparedness of the Russian Pilgrim House positively.

By the end of December 2011 an engineering system testing will have been conducted; ventilation, air-conditioning, the process equipment for a refectory, a fire-control unit system and an evacuation system will have been checked.

An official opening of the Russian Pilgrim House will be held after all test works have been finished and all life support systems have been put into operation. The provisional schedule is the first ten-day period of December 2012.
