Business Meeting of RJBC Deputy Chairman Mr. Kononenko V. A. with Russian Federation Consul in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Endovitsky R.A.

The business meeting of Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Deputy Chairman Mr. Kononenko V.A. with the Russian Federation Consul in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Endovitsky R.A. took place on 10th March 2011 at the Russian Federation Consulate.

The matters concerning the Russian-Jordanian Business Council activities and its role in the further development of the trade and economic, scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Jordan were discussed at the meeting.

The Consul took a keen interest in learning the provided data and emphasized the significance of the fast introduction of practical mechanisms to carry out the Russian-Jordanian Business Council decisions in order to increase the bilateral trade, find out obstacles and possible ways to overcome them, develop investment opportunities in various spheres of cooperation.

Mr. Endovitsky R.A. also paid special attention of RJBC to the need for further development of cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, science, technology and innovations based on the actual interests and mutual benefit in accordance with the dynamics of Russian-Jordanian interrelations.

At the meeting special emphasis was put on the summing up the results of the X Jubilee Russian Industrial Exhibition ‘EXPO Russia — Jordan 2011’ and the V Joint Meeting of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council.

The Consul gave a positive appraisal of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council activities and expressed confidence that its positive image and role will favour the further deepening of economic, investment and political cooperation between Russia and Jordan.

RJBC Deputy Chairman Mr. Kononenko V.A., on his side, thanked the Consul for the timely and constructive help in arranging the visits of the Jordanian delegations and businessmen to Russia, as well as for rendering assistance to the Russian-Jordanian Business Council in settling up technical and organizational issues.

Mr. Kononenko V.A. informed the Consul that from 25th to 31st March 2011 there will be a ‘Jordanian-Russian Week For Communications Engineering and Its Applications’, which will be held with collaboration and assistance of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya Bint El Hassan at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (Ma’an City), and invited him to take part in the official events.

Mr. Endovitsky R.A. was all in favour of this event and wished the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and participating in the conference Russian companies every success in Jordan Communications Engineering market expansion.
