Business Meeting of RJBC Deputy Chairman Mr. Kononenko V. A. and ‘Russian Railroad Corporation’ plc. Delegation with Aqaba Railway Corporation Director General Mr. Hussein M. Krishan

The business meeting of Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Deputy Chairman Mr. Kononenko V. A. and a ‘Russian Railroad Corporation’ plc. (‘RRC’ plc.) delegation (the head of the delegation is ‘RRC’ plc. International Projects Overseas Coordination Department Director Mr. Ivanov V.A.) with Aqaba Railway Corporation Director General Mr. Hussein Krishan took place on 8th March 2011.

This meeting was arranged by the Russian-Jordanian Business Council within the ‘Russian Railroad Corporation’ plc. delegation’s visit agenda to Jordan. The participants could see the operating Aqaba Railway, which is the only railroad in Jordan, and make the firsthand acquaintance with technical and economic indicators of its functioning. The ‘RRC’ plc. delegation members visited the Aqaba Railway repair park and training center aimed for training and retraining of the Jordan railway specialists and maintenance staff.

The negotiations between the ‘RRC’ plc. delegation and Aqaba Railway Corporation Director General Mr. Hussein Krishan proceeded in a businesslike, constructive and friendly atmosphere.
