Russia to exempt Jordan’s agricultural exports from customs fees

AMMAN — Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruits and Vegetables President Zuhair Jweihan on Tuesday said that Russian authorities had agreed to exempt Jordanian agricultural exports from customs fees by 25 per cent in the summer and 100 per cent in the winter.

He added that the association had received a letter from the Russian government affirming the new exemptions and would follow up on the issue with the agriculture, and industry and trade ministries and the Jordan Customs Department.
