RJBC Deputy Chairman&Director Mr. Kononenko Meets Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Desyatnikov

 On 17th November 2019 at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Jordan, Deputy Chairman&Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko had a meeting with newly-appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Gleb Desyatnikov.

 To start with, in the name of RJBC Chairman, Mr. Novitsky, and on his own behalf Mr. Kononenko felicitated Mr. Desyatnikov on the occasion of his appointment to the high and responsible post of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and wished him every success in his diplomatic activities and implementation of trade and economic, scientific and technical as well as social projects, aimed at further promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation and enhancing friendly ties between Russia and Jordan.

 The Ambassador thanked for the congratulations and, in his turn, made special mention of the high level of the existing interrelations between our countries in various areas of cooperation. Also the Ambassador took a close look at the RJBC’s activities for the last period and emphasized the necessity for further strengthening of relations between Russia and Jordan favoring cooperation development between businessmen from both countries in such fields as increasing mutual turnover, cooperation in industry, innovation technologies and investments.

 In the course of the meeting, special attention was paid to the necessity to go on arranging events contributing to further development of the already well-established contacts in different cooperation areas, including business community’s exchanges, participation of Russian and Jordanian companies in international and specialized exhibitions, forums and conferences taking place in both countries.

 To sum up, the participants of the meeting specified the ways to intensify further collaboration between the RJBC and the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in coordination of joint Russian-Jordanian projects implemented both in a Russia’s and Jordan’s territories.
