RJBC Deputy Chairman&Director Mr. Kononenko Meets Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Jordan Mr. Bolotin

On 18^th September 2014 a meeting between Deputy Chairman&Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC), Mr. Kononenko, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Bolotin, took place at the Russian Federation Embassy in Jordan.

To start with, in the name of RJBC Chairman, Mr. Novitsky, and on his own behalf, Mr. Kononenko felicitated Mr. Bolotin on the occasion of his appointment to the high and responsible post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; and wished him every success in his diplomatic activities and implementation of trade and economic, scientific and technical as well as social projects, aimed at further promotion of mutually profitable cooperation and deepening friendly ties between Russia and Jordan.

The Ambassador thanked for the congratulations and, in his turn, made special mention of the high level of the existing interrelations between our countries in various collaboration areas. Also the Ambassador took a close look at the Russian-Jordanian Business Council’s activities for the last period and emphasized the necessity for further enhancing of relations between Russia and Jordan favoring cooperation development between businessmen from both countries in such fields as increasing mutual turnover, cooperation in industry, innovation technologies and investments.

In this connection, Mr. Kononenko and Mr. Bolotin considered the arrangements for a Jordanian Vegetable and Fruit Producers Delegation’s visit to the Russian Federation in 2014 in order to have a meeting with the major Russian wholesalers, retailers and the owners of the leading Russian trading chains.

In the course of the meeting, special attention was paid to the necessity to continue holding events contributing further development of the already well-established contacts in different cooperation areas, including business community’s exchanges, participation of Russian and Jordanian companies in the arranged by both countries international and specialized exhibitions, forums and conferences.

To sum up, the participants of the meeting specified the ways to intensify further collaboration between the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in coordination of joint Russian-Jordanian projects implemented both in a Russia’s and Jordan’s territories.
