On 09.04.2015 at the Jordan Ministry of Health, Deputy Chairman, Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko had a business meeting with Secretary General of the Jordan Ministry of Health H.E. Dr. Daifallah Al-Louzi.

In the course of the meeting the negotiators discussed the matters concerning further cooperation between the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and the Jordan Ministry of Health in the area of joint Russian-Jordanian projects coordination; dealt with the questions of collaboration between enterprises of the Jordan Ministry of Health and Russian medical institutions as well as medical scientific research institutes.

In this connection, the participants of the meeting labored a point about a feasibility to provide on the territory of Jordan and neighboring Arab countries high-technology diagnostics, medical treatment as well as rehabilitation services in the sphere of traumatic surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery by the Novosibirsk Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics (Director is Doctor of Medicine, Professor Mr. M.A. Sadovoy)

Therefore, the parties focused upon legal terms details, operating licensing requirements for rendering medical care services in a Jordan’s territory, a relating system of legislative acts in force along with other obligatory procedures.

In conclusion, H.E. Dr. Daifallah Al-Louzi noted that the Russian-Jordanian Business Council played a major role in development of economic relations between Jordan and Russia; took a favourable view of cooperation prospects in the area of supplying high-technology services by the key Russian medical institutions; and, in his turn, also drew the Russian party’s attention to a broad spectrum of health care services provided by the leading Jordanian clinics and hospitals.
