RJBC Deputy Chairman, Director Mr. Kononenko Meets Minister of Health of Jordan H.E. Dr. Saad Fayez Jaber

 On 18th November 2019 at the Jordan Ministry of Health, Deputy Chairman and Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko and Director of the JSC “YSAR+” Center for International Projects Mr. Robskiy had a working meeting with Minister of Health of Jordan H.E. Dr. Saad Fayez Jaber.

 The negotiators discussed the outcome of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development, which took place on 14th November 2019 in Amman, Jordan. The Parties noted the importance of fulfilling the “Cooperation Agreement on the Automation and Standardization of Breast Cancer Screening” between the Ministry of Health of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, JSC “YSAR+”, the federal state budgetary institution “N. N. Blokhin National Medical Research Centre for Oncology” of the Health Ministry of Russia and the Russian-Jordanian Business Council signed on 12th June 2019 and aimed at the implementation into government medical hospitals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the King Hussein Cancer Center the innovative software “System for Descriptions, Recommendations and Statistics of Mammographic Screening”, developed by JSC “YSAR +”.

 The Minister of Health of Jordan also emphasized the importance of this innovative pilot project in the area of healthcare for both Russia and Jordan. The Parties finalized the list of the government medical hospitals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan involved in the project, discussed all the necessary requirements for the successful implementation of the project, and confirmed the deadline of the implementation of the innovative software into the government medical hospitals.

 In conclusion of the meeting the Parties dealt with cooperation between the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and the Jordan Ministry of Health in the area of coordination of the joint Russian-Jordanian projects, as well as the collaboration between medical institutions of Jordan and medical companies and scientific research institutes of Russia.

 Minister of Health of Jordan H.E. Dr. Saad Fayez Jaber noted a major role of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council in development of trade and economic cooperation between Jordan and Russia, and took a favourable view of prospect of collaboration between the leading Russian and Jordanian companies and institutions in the area of providing high-technology and innovative services.
