Russian-Jordanian Business Forum Held in Amman City

The Russian-Jordanian Business Forum took place on June, 25^th-26^th 2012 in Amman City (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan).

This event was timed to the Russian Federation President’s visit to Jordan and aimed at ‘reloading’ bilateral Russian-Jordanian trade and economic relations in a broad spectrum of directions. At the Forum business quarters from both countries could discuss advanced collaboration initiatives, elaborate on the question about a Russian-Jordanian trade volume and work out the measures to facilitate its reaching for the rates of development comparable with an achieved high level of political relations between two countries. Energy sector, transport, investment, agriculture, engineering industry, construction, medicine and tourism were marked out as the main directions in development of Russian-Jordanian cooperation. The participants of the Forum expressed mutual confidence that the Forum would give a powerful incentive to a successful promotion and entry of the certain Russian-Jordanian companies to a Jordanian market as well as Jordanian goods, services and investments to a territory of the Russian Federation.
