On 14^th December 2015, at the premises of the Jordan Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, within the framework of preparations for the Third Plenary Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development and the Russian-Jordanian Business Forum, under the instruction of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Chairman Mr. Novitsky, the RJBC Deputy Chairman, Director Mr. Kononenko had an official meeting with Jordan Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Ms. Maha Ali.

The negotiators considered the issues on arranging and holding of the Third Session of the Russian-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development as well as the Russian-Jordanian Business Forum in the first two quarters of 2016 in Amman, Jordan.

Within the framework of negotiations both Parties could discuss a number of initiatives and steps aimed at better preparation for the forthcoming events and more successful further promotion of the Jordanian goods and services to the Russian market as well as the Russian goods, services and investments to Jordan.

The negotiators discussed their further collaboration in the sphere of the Jordan market development by the Russian companies in such areas as a grain export and an agricultural chemistry production.

In conclusion, the Parties focused on further mutually beneficial cooperation between the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and the Jordan Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply in order to coordinate the joint Russian-Jordanian projects.
