RJBC Deputy Chairman, Director Mr. Kononenko and Director of JSC “YSAR +” Center for International Projects Mr. Robskiy Meet Director General of King Hussein Cancer Center H.E. Mr. Asem Mansour

 On 11th June 2019, at the leading cancer center – the King Hussein Cancer Center, Deputy Chairman, Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko and Director of the JSC “YSAR+” Center for International Projects Mr. Andrey S. Robskiy had a working meeting with Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Center H.E. Mr. Asem Mansour.

 The negotiators discussed the participation of the King Hussein Cancer Center in the innovative project for the improvement of early detection of oncological diseases by way of automation of breast cancer screening using “The System of Description, Recommendations and Statistics of Mammographic Screening” (SORS-MS), which was developed by the JSC “YSAR +”.

 The project is being launched in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the moment and the participants of the meeting showed mutual interest in taking part in it. The Parties agreed that the King Hussein Cancer Center should become a key project participant, a Competence Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and should provide a second opinion to the hospitals and state institutions of Jordan chosen to participate in the project.

 In addition, the negotiators dealt with possibilities for technical cooperation with teams from different healthcare institutions in Jordan, including the Jordan Breast Cancer Program.

 To sum up, the Parties once again specified the basic areas of cooperation, including arrangements and signing of the Framework Cooperation Agreement between the King Hussein Cancer Center, the JSC “YSAR +”, and the Russian-Jordanian Business Council as a part of the pilot project, which is being carried out in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the auspices of the Jordan Ministry of Health.
