RJBC Deputy Chairman&Director Mr. Kononenko Meets Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce H.E. Mr. Al-Kabariti

On 2nd April 2018 at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce premises the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Deputy Chairman&Director, Mr. Valeriy A. Kononenko, had a working meeting with Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, H.E. Mr. Nael Raja Al-Kabariti.
The participants of the meeting discussed trade and economic cooperation between private sector enterprises of Jordan and Russia in the following areas: agriculture; tourism; timber processing; medicine; food, grain, grain products and oil crops export and import; and the Dead Sea products export.
During the meeting Mr. Kononenko and H.E. Mr. Al-Kabariti also focused upon the arrangements, composition and participation of the Jordanian Delegation in the IV International Exhibition “Arabia-EXPO 2018″, the XII Session of the Russian-Arab Business Council and the IX Joint Session of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council.
The negotiators emphasized the necessity for having more events aiming at business community’s exchanges, participation of Russian and Jordanian companies in the international and specialized exhibitions, forums and conferences arranged in the territories of both countries.
Summing up the meeting, Mr. Kononenko and H.E. Mr. Al-Kabariti discussed further cooperation to coordinate the joint Russian-Jordanian projects implemented both in a Russia’s and Jordan’s territories.
