Visit of His Excellency Abdel Ilah Al Kurdi, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to Siberian Federal District

His Excellency Abdel Ilah Al Kurdi, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, was on a visit to Siberian Federal District, Novosibirsk on the invitation of Mr. Valeriy Kononenko, Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council on February 14-16, 2008. During the visit His Excellency met with the officials of the Siberian Federal District, Mr. Viktor Tolokonskiy, Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast, Mr. Viktor Voronov, First Deputy Mayor of Novosibirk, officials of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science, the Institute of Nuclear Physics, and the exhibition center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science, as well as with women’s public and charity organizations. The purpose of the visit was getting acquainted with the economic, scientific and technical potential of the Siberian Federal District (Novosibirsk Oblast), and with the possibilities of the future cooperation in these spheres, the possibilities of organizing exhibitions and cultural exchange.
