RJBC Deputy Chairman, Director Mr. Kononenko and Director of JSC “YSAR +” Center for International Projects Mr. Robskiy Meet Secretary General of Jordan Ministry of Health H.E. Dr. Hikmat Abu Al-Foul

 On 10th June 2019, at the Jordan Ministry of Health, Deputy Chairman, Director of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council (RJBC) Mr. Kononenko and Director of the JSC “YSAR +” Center for International Projects Mr. Andrey S. Robskiy had a formal meeting with Secretary General of the Jordan Ministry of Health H.E. Dr. Hikmat Abu Al-Foul.

 The negotiators discussed the preparedness of the parties to implement in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan the innovative project for the improvement of early detection of oncological diseases by automating breast cancer screening based on “The System of Description, Recommendations and Statistics of Mammographic Screening” (SORS-MS), which was developed by the JSC “YSAR +”. In the course of the meeting the Parties specified key basic areas of cooperation, considered a number of pilot areas with the necessary infrastructure, which were suggested by the Jordanian side in order to fulfil the tasks of researches and applied researches. They also examined and analyzed other forms of oncological diseases and potential use of the JSC “YSAR +” screening programs, new methods and the cutting-edge technologies applied by the federal state budgetary institution “N. N. Blokhin National Medical Research Centre for Oncology” of the Health Ministry of Russia for early diagnostics with further treatment in Jordan and at the leading clinics in the Russian Federation.

 In addition, the Parties dealt with further cooperation between the Russian-Jordanian Business Council and the Jordan Ministry of Health in the area of coordination of joint Russian-Jordanian innovative projects, as well as the questions on coordination of activities between Russian medical institutions and medical scientific research institutes and enterprises of the Jordan Ministry of Health.

 In conclusion, Mr. Kononenko noted the Jordan Ministry of Health’s major role and Secretary General of the Jordan Ministry of Health H.E. Dr. Hikmat Abu Al-Foul’s personal contribution in development of cooperation in the area of providing high-technology services by the key Russian and Jordanian medical institutions; and creation of favorable conditions for further mutually-beneficial innovative collaboration in the field of health care.

 Finally, on behalf of the Russian-Jordanian Business Council, Mr. Kononenko awarded Secretary General of the Jordan Ministry of Health H.E. Dr. Hikmat Abu Al-Foul with a Medal ‘For Contribution to Development of Economic and Friendly Relations between Russia and Jordan’ and wished him further success in his work for the good of people both in Jordan and Russia.
